left for singapore on the evening of the 23rd so arrived 24th na. slept most of the day, did a little horsing around then helped (or rather nanggulo) in preparing for the noche buena - turkey, different kinds of salad and lots more! yum yum.
dec 25 is always a special occasion for the dizon family. first off, its christmas, then it's my lolo's birthday, then my grandparents' anniv, and lastly, my aunt portia and uncle sun yee's anniv (the reason we all went to singapore this year- to celebrate their 25th anniv ;p). so you have a general idea of how hectic (and happy of course!) the atmosphere was!
on Christmas Day, we celebrated with aunt portia and uncle sun yee their 25th wedding anniv (true love!). They held their anniversary dinner at the reception hall of this cool chinese museum called Huan Song (english trans- In praise of Chinese). The museum was very interesting, learned one thing- "where there is water, there are chinese." hehe. hmmm... the food was good. definitely knew my dress was tighter after the 8 course menu! some of the menu highlights (my faves actually hehe) include wasabi prawns, chinese noodles and the garoupa (sosy na term for lapu lapu,o diba? hehe) fillet. for the program, my cousins, rachel and joshua sang for their parents. plus uncle sun yee serenaded his lovely wife with the pma song "My Cadet Girl". Awww. Short summary pala sa love story nila. Uncle Sun Yee is a Singporean who went to the Phils as an exchange student sa PMA. It was there that he met my Aunt Portia, the daughter of my lolo who is also a PMAer or Mista.

After the past few days, we're taking it easy. The weather here is wet and and its just so nice to relax and sleep in. will take singapore by storm after we've rested! haha
